A standout outside hitter from Newtown, Pennsylvania, Gavin developed his game at Council Rock High School North before continuing his career at Penn State Men's Club Volleyball, where he competes at a high level and serves as team president. His size, athleticism, and versatility as a 6'4" outside hitter make him a dynamic presence on the court.
Gavin’s roots in beach volleyball run through SandYard, where he trained for multiple years and quickly established himself as both a competitor and a leader. His impact was immediate. He earned the opportunity to step into a coaching role as a Junior Coach, where he became a favorite among players for his ability to connect, teach, and push athletes to improve.
On the sand, Gavin has already proven he can compete at a high level. He set a goal to break into Men’s Open competition and achieved it, reaching the playoffs in his first season competing at that level, an accomplishment that typically takes players years to reach.

He emphasizes high reps, aggressive play, and building confidence through competition. His sessions are fast-paced, competitive, and focused on helping athletes translate training into real match performance.
