All players that participate in SandYard events must have a current AVP Membership:
Club players need the $25 Silver membership
Juniors cannot get their own membership. In order for parents to be aware of their child’s volleyball activities, the AVP has instituted a system where a parent first gets a FREE Basic membership. The parent can then register the player and link the player’s account to their own page. Here are procedures for creating a new AVP account or renewing an old account:
Creating a New U18 Account
- Create a Basic (free) membership for yourself (The parent) at:
https://avp.com/membership/
- On your profile page, click the drop-down menu with your name on it and select “Create linked account”
- Organization is: Sandyard Beach Academy
- If your child is competing in non-bid tournaments, select Silver. If they are just competing in a league or club, select Bronze. If your child hopes to compete at Junior Nationals, East Coast Championships, or West Coast Championships, select Gold.
